“He who plants a tree
Plants hope. . .”
– Lucy Larcom
You can plant a tree or grove of trees in honor of a loved one, through a novel gift program that supports the restoration of Boston’s precious natural areas. It’s a gift that will grow for years to come!
For a $50 donation, EarthWorks will send a specially designed card informing recipients that you have made a gift to plant a tree in their name on Boston conservation land. For a limited time, a $50 donation from non-members includes a one-year EarthWorks membership.
For a $100 donation, EarthWorks will send a specially designed card informing recipients that you have made a gift to plant a grove of four trees in their name. You can select one of the following options. Click the images to see a larger version:

Click here to dedicate a tree. You will be prompted to fill out a form which will instantly submit your request. You will then be prompted to print the form and mail it in with a check.
If you wish to make your payment online instead of paying by check, please click here. This will allow you to donate online through our Wainwright Bank & Trust Company Community Room.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: You do not need to become a Community Room member. On the community room page, scroll to the bottom of the screen and in the field marked "Special Instructions." Enter the name and address of the person who will receive the card and whether you are dedicating a grove or a single tree.
*Please note: Tree dedication requests received by December 19 will be mailed on December 20. We cannot guarantee that dedications made after December 19 will be received in time for Christmas.*
Through our Community Forestry programs, EarthWorks plants trees that create a healthier and more sustainable Boston. We can tell you the site where your saplings will be planted, and information on tree dedications will be posted on our website. Sorry, we cannot accept requests for plantings at specific sites at this time.
For more information about dedicating a tree, please contact Annie Cardinaux at 617-442-1059, annie@earthworksboston.org.
